Lucy is a composer specialising in music for visuals. Her compositions fuse acoustic performance with experimental production and sound design, seeking harmony within contrasting elements. Her work as a media composer and collaborator has seen her music played and published worldwide, including a recent selection in a printed anthology of piano works by women composers.
Lucy is passionate about interdisciplinary arts, achieving a distinction in her final portfolio of animation and documentary work for her composition MA; she finds inspiration in the intersection of music and visual arts, especially in animation, where boundless imagination mirrors the expressive potential of music. Lucy is a recipient of the Sound and Music ‘Seed Award’ 2024, which will enable her to pursue an independent project focusing on the connection between music and animated visuals.
